ABOUT ME.

lisa.png

I graduated from Birmingham Metropolitan College in July 2014 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Podiatry where I studied as a mature student.

Since then I have worked in private practice and for the NHS. Most of my work has involved working independently and as part of small teams providing quality clinical care for my patients who have either self referred or are referred to the service. This has involved assessing, diagnosing, developing and implementing high quality individualised care plans for patients in the community.

I have treated a wide variety of patients under my care including: acute and chronic neuropathies and diseases which affect the lower limb and been involved in musculoskeletal clinics.  I have attended further training in this field completing courses in biomechanics, ultrasound therapy and orthoses prescription.

I have a particular interest in nail and skin pathologies including ingrown toe nails and verrucae management and completed further training in verrucae management and nail surgery for problematic nails.

I am a member of the College of Podiatry and HCPC registered and committed to further developing my skills.

In my spare time I enjoy gardening and cooking and also enjoy sport and going to the gym.
